Paleti means the traditional way of eating in the village. Families would sit down cross-legged around a low table on cushions. At Paleti Bhanachha Ghar Restaurant, we offer both the Paleti traditional way of eating as well as regular tables and chairs. We find that visitors love the intimacy of the Paleti style of eating.
The year 2015 was a very difficult year for Nepal, as the big earthquake of 25 April destroyed houses as well as the economic opportunities of the people. The village people were especially impacted, as 90% of the houses were destroyed.
