Tukche Thakali Kitchen is one of the most authentic family-run restaurants in Kathmandu, Nepal. The primary aim was to make real home-cooked Thakali meals accessible to the public and to tourists visiting Nepal. We use local produce found in the city, but many of the ingredients used in the restaurant are sourced from villages in the Kali Gandaki region, including Tukche village. This approach helps to infuse an authentic flavor into our preparations. The ambiance of our restaurant exudes a Thakali essence, making it the perfect setting to savor genuine Thakali cuisine.
